It has been a start-stop (mostly stop) relationship with photography and I don't seem to get very far. I am not very focused!
Once I started digital photography, it is the problem of Dynamic Range that has continually stumped me and prevented me submitting more images to Alamy. I shoot RAW files with old Fujifilm XE-1 with an ancient film macro lens that used to belong to Bob, I mean Eric, Hoskings and then convert them with Capture One and further edit in a very old version of Photoshop
